The Careers Advisor
The Careers Advisor is an integral part of the College's student counselling services. The Careers Advisor is available each day to parents and students.
Careers Services provided include:
- information on a range of career related issues
- relaying information relevant to senior students
- individual career counselling sessions
- providing workshop activities to class groups
- providing guest speakers to address students
- organising excursions
- assistance and advice with job search techniques
- assisting students to complete tertiary applications
The Careers Library is being constantly updated. A wide variety of material is available in the form of books, pamphlets, videos and computer programs. Some resources are available for short term loan.
Information is also sent to parents via newsletter and to students through the Daily Messages and email.
Work Experience is not routinely offered at St Clare's College. Students who wish to undertake work experience placements need to organise this during term time after consultation with their teachers. See the Careers Counsellor for details.
